With Backgammon Live, you have the opportunity to play online backgammon in high definition on your iPad. You can also enjoy playing on your iPhone and iPod Touch. Please note that an internet connection is required.

Backgammon Live allows you to engage in internet backgammon games, matches, and tournaments. Additionally, you can chat with other players, compete against them, and make new friends.

One of the notable features of Backgammon Live Online is that it automatically reconnects you in the event of an internet disconnection. It is compatible with both WIFI and non-WIFI connections, including 3G.

In terms of gameplay, you have the option to play single and multi-point backgammon matches. You can invite other players to join or respond to invitations from them. Furthermore, you can email your games to yourself for further analysis.

While many perceive backgammon as a game of luck, it is actually a strategic visual game of war, comparable to chess in terms of difficulty. Skilled backgammon players utilize intuition, calculations, creativity, and psychology to outwit their opponents.

The objective in online backgammon is to move all of your checkers into the home board and then bear them off the board entirely. The first player to successfully remove all of their checkers is declared the winner.

In Greece and Turkey, backgammon is known as tavla, while in Iran and Russia, it is called nardi.

If backgammon were solely a game of chance, players would only be expected to win approximately half of their games. However, similar to chess, skilled backgammon players consistently win games against novices. Backgammon requires more than sheer luck; it demands a wealth of skill beyond simply rolling the dice and mindlessly moving checkers around the board.

In contrast, a backgammon occurs when a player wins a completed game while their opponent still has one or more checkers on the bar or in the winner's home board. A backgammon entails the winner receiving three times the value of the doubling cube.
